Can I finance a car, and what paperwork do you need from me?
Yes. We arrange finance on fair terms to suit your circumstances – and you don't need a large deposit. To keep things quick and straightforward, we only need a few documents:
- valid photo ID
- your last two payslips
- an up-to-date proof of registered address (Meldezettel)
- non-EU citizens also need a valid residence permit (Aufenthaltstitel)
You are welcome to send your documents over by email or WhatsApp – whichever is easiest for you.
I'm at the address but I can't see a car dealership – where are the cars?
You're in the right place. Our cars are kept clean, dry and under cover in our underground car park. We have deliberately chosen not to run an open forecourt out on the street.
That is why viewings and test drives are by appointment only. There is a real advantage in this for you: you get unhurried, one-to-one advice, and the car you are interested in is waiting for you properly lit and ready to look over – no rush, no rain, no pressure. Just give us a quick call; we are always happy to help.
Can I have the car inspected by the ÖAMTC or ARBÖ before I buy it?
Of course. Openness is the foundation of everything we do: you are welcome to have any of our cars thoroughly checked over before you buy by an independent inspection body of your choice – for example the ÖAMTC or the ARBÖ, Austria's two independent motoring clubs and vehicle inspection organisations.
Is the mileage genuine, and can the car's history be traced?
Yes. It matters to us that every car's history can be traced without gaps. All of our cars come with documentary evidence – a service book, inspection reports or digital service records. That means you can rely on the mileage we state.
Can I reserve a car in advance?
We can only hold a car for you firmly against a deposit. Without a deposit we will not take a car off sale – that would not be fair to everyone else who is interested in it. If you would like to secure the car you have your eye on, simply have a word with us.
Will you take my old car in part-exchange?
Yes, gladly. We will value your used car fairly and put that amount straight towards your new one as the deposit. If there is still finance running on your old car, we are happy to settle the outstanding balance with your bank in full (Ablöse) if you wish.
Can I take the car for a test drive?
Yes, at any time once we have arranged a slot. We will have the car ready along with the right trade plates, so you can take your time trying it out in normal road traffic.
What payment methods can I use when I buy?
You can pay for your car by bank transfer, arrange finance through us, or simply settle up when you collect it. We set out all the details in the contract of sale beforehand, so nothing is left open or unclear for you.
Will you help me register the car?
Yes. We prepare all the necessary paperwork – the vehicle data document (Typenschein), the contract of sale and the § 57a certificate (Austria's compulsory periodic roadworthiness inspection, known as the "Pickerl") – and we help you with the registration, so you can be on the road in no time.
